Mission
The mission of the Catholic Health Care Leadership Alliance (CHCLA) as an alliance of faithful Catholic organizations is to support the rights of patients and professionals to receive and provide health care in accordance with the moral, ethical, and social teachings of Jesus Christ and His Church through ongoing evangelization, education, advocacy, and mutual support.

Vision
The Catholic Health Care Leadership Alliance is dedicated to renewing Catholic health care in harmony with the healing ministry of Christ and His Church.
What We Do
- We educate and evangelize Catholic physicians, nurses, and allied medical as well as administrative personnel, volunteers, and benefactors in the renewal of Catholic medical care and the transformation of our culture,
- We do political advocacy to ensure that the voices of those who advocate for Catholic moral and social teachings are heard in deliberations over public policy agendas,
- We promote freedom of conscience and religious liberty in health care,
- We encourage the creation of new programs and improve current options for financing health care to ensure access to affordable, high-quality medical care,
- We support one another as we work together to amplify our voices to proclaim the sanctity of Christ’s work in the everyday care of our patients.
